Time of Day

Sunrise and Sunset are the most magical times of the day to photograph. You will be greeted with the softest light and beautiful pastel colors at sunrise. Sunset provides you with that warm summer sunlight and blue hour which also is a favorite of mine. Some locations need further guidance, for example: wooded areas, and time of year could be affected. Trust your photographer to give you the most accurate golden hour moments for your session.

Composition

I love being able to tell a story through your photos. You can expect to be lightly guided through simple posing, however I thrive on amplifying what beauty already exists in your family unit and I'll capture candids through the poses. The more you can enjoy each other and stop trying to get "The Perfect Photo", the better your session will be. Act as if I'm not there <3

What to Wear

There are a few things to consider when choosing your outfits for your portrait session:

-Choose something you feel comfortable and relaxed in

-Avoid illustrations, text, and logos

-Mix and Match when picking outfits

-My favorite piece of advice is to stick to a neutral palate, block colors photograph really well
